We're excited to announce that our student church, the Embassy, has made arrangements to hold its Monday night services at the Turret nightclub on the Laurier campus starting in September! I received an email recently about an ADHD seminar for parents from a counseling agency in Burlington and thought I'd post the information in case it would be of interest or benefit to anyone in our community. The following is the content of the email I received:

Parents who attend this seminar will learn:

- Understanding medication and non-medication treatment approaches
- How to effectively parent a child with ADHD
- Ways to help your child to become calm, engaged and focused
- Strategies that work to overcome the difficult behavious of ADHD

- Effective teaching strategies for children with ADHD to help with homework
